1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as tags and local storage. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these. They help a website work, remember your choices and show how it is used.
MCPForm.io is a product of Talitu Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy covers our marketing site at www.mcpform.io and the hosted public forms we serve on mcpforms.io. It does not cover the websites of our customers.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to run the site, keep it secure and remember your cookie choice. With your consent we also use them to measure how the site is used and, if we add them later, to measure our advertising. We group cookies into the categories below.
3. Categories of cookie
Strictly necessary
Needed for the site and our hosted forms to work, such as security, bot checks and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. In the UK, the EU and the EEA these are set only with your consent.
Marketing and advertising
Used to measure our advertising and show more relevant content. In the UK, the EU and the EEA these are set only with your consent.
4. Cookies we use on www.mcpform.io
The table below covers the tools on this website. Which of them set a cookie on your visit depends on the choices you make in our cookie notice. Third parties change cookie names and lifetimes from time to time.
| Cookie / tool | Provider | Category | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookieConsent, cookieConsentDate (local storage) |
MCPForm.io (first-party) | Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies and when, so the notice only shows once. Kept until you clear it or change your choice. |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare | Strictly necessary | Bot management and site security. Up to 30 minutes. |
cf_clearance |
Cloudflare | Strictly necessary | Shows you have passed a security challenge. Set only when a challenge is shown. Up to 1 year. |
| Google Tag Manager | Analytics (loads the tags below) | Loads our analytics tags. In the UK, the EU and the EEA it loads only after you accept. Tag Manager itself does not set a cookie. | |
_ga, _ga_* |
Google Analytics | Analytics | Tells visitors apart and measures how the site is used. Set only after consent where consent is needed. Up to 2 years. |
aw_id |
MCPForm.io (first-party) | Analytics | Set only when you submit a form on this site. It holds a one-way hash of your email address (not the address itself) so we can recognise a return visit and link it to your earlier enquiry. 365 days. |
bcookie, li_sugr, lidc, UserMatchHistory and others |
LinkedIn Insight Tag (may be added through Google Tag Manager) | Marketing | Not in use today. If we add it, it will measure our LinkedIn ads and load only after consent where consent is needed. Session to 1 year. |
_fbp, _fbc |
Meta Pixel (may be added through Google Tag Manager) | Marketing | Not in use today. If we add it, it will measure our Meta ads and load only after consent where consent is needed. Up to 90 days. |
We will update this table before we add any tool that sets a new cookie.
5. Cookies on hosted forms (mcpforms.io)
Our customers publish their forms on pages we host at mcpforms.io. Those pages set only the cookies needed to run the form:
- a session cookie that keeps your progress through the form, so you do not lose your answers between steps; and
-
bot-check cookies from Cloudflare (including Cloudflare Turnstile and
__cf_bm), which stop automated spam.
These are strictly necessary, so they are set without asking. Our hosted form pages do not load analytics or marketing trackers of our own.
A customer can choose to add their own trackers to their forms. If they do, the customer decides which cookies are set and is responsible for them, and their own cookie or privacy policy covers them. Please contact the business that published the form if you have questions about those.
6. Managing your preferences
Strictly necessary cookies are set whatever you choose, because the site cannot work without them. Everything else depends on your choice.
If you are in the UK, the EU or the EEA, we show you a cookie notice the first time you visit. We load no analytics or marketing tags until you accept. Decline and they are never loaded.
If you are outside those regions, our analytics tags load when the page does, because the law that applies to you does not require consent first. You can still turn them off at any time with the link below, and we will remember that choice.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site or our hosted forms may not work properly if you do.
7. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use, such as Cloudflare and Google. Those parties process data under their own policies, and we encourage you to read them. Our sub-processors page lists the providers we use.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes. The "last updated" date shows when the latest version took effect.
9. Contact
Questions about cookies can be sent to [email protected]. For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
